David has been making moving pictures for over 20 years in a variety of media. He has lived the evolution from film to video to digital, the inter-net and now the phone and AI. Technology has changed, solid production principles and values haven’t.

He strives to create harmony on the screen by fostering unity behind the scenes. But he knows that without a great story and an emotional connection with the viewer, it is just a waste of time and money.

David has donned many hats in his career. Director, writer, editor, director of photography, camera operator, art guy and the list goes on. His full and colorful hat rack empowers him to see the big picture while always looking through his audiences’ eyes.

David has been a filmmaker since the mid-80’s when he created his first film, “The Adventures of Swirlieman” in an Indiana art school. He holds a Master’s degree in Film and Television, has worked, and has worked and lived in Los Angeles and New York. He also taught Directing and Writing at the European Film College in Denmark. Over the years, David’s passion for film has compelled him to write, produce, direct, edit, and shoot documentaries, music videos, dramas, corporate films, and more. David loves to work with people and strives to create an environment where everyone can do their best work. Since the pandemic alone, his films have garnered over 20 awards including best directing, cinematography, editing, and experimental film.
